Strong Science Olympiad Program
Our team has qualified for the state meet four times in the last six years. We placed 5th in the state in 2007 and went home with a 1st place in Wheeled Vehicle. Overall we brought home six medals from the state meet in 2007. We placed 6th in the regional in 2001; 2nd in the regional in 2002; 4th in the regional in 2003; 6th in 2005. Our teams won three medals in the state competition in 2003: 1st place in Mystery Architecture, 2nd place in Balloon Race, and 3rd place in Picture This. In 2005 our team medaled in three events: 1st in Bottle Rockets, 2nd in Sound of Music, and 3rd in Naked Egg Drop. Our Science Olympiad team total standing is 11th in the state.
