Books for the library and classroom libraries

We are grateful to parents, parishioners, alumni, and friends of Pope John XXIII School who participate in these Fundraisers. They make it possible for us to offer our students many instructional enhancements that are not covered by the operating budget. The operating budget covers basic necessities in the expense column like teacher salaries, utilities, and basic instructional materials. Instructional enhancements include videos, special manipulatives for math and science, Big Books, special novel sets for classroom libraries, computer software, Sonic Wall yearly license fee, new computers and classroom printers. Teacher enhancements cover special treats for teachers on their birthdays, luncheons and treats for meetings, and holiday gifts.

Parent's Association Fundraising Projects

Market Day is THE fund-raiser for the Pope John XXIII Parents’ Association.
Purchase your family’s groceries through the school once a month, and the school receives a percentage of your purchase price (between 10% and 45%).
Funds raised are allocated to various school enhancement projects, such as Arts Day, Scholarthon, music programs and more.  Market Day profits have even been used to offset the cost of the school computer lab, science lab and the new gym floor.
Look for a Market Day order form every month in your school Thursday Folder.  You can even order online.  Pick-up is typically the third Saturday of each month.

For more information, contact the school’s Market Day chairpersons:
Cynthia Judge (Armacost), Kathy Swarczewski, Marisa Colgate, Beccy Sullivan
