Pope John XXIII School has a proud history of academic excellence, rooted in the founding of St. Nicholas and St. Mary Parish Schools in Evanston in 1886. The 1986 merger brought together the strengths of both schools, forming the school you know today. In 2022, St. Mary and St. Nicholas parishes united to become the Parish of St. John XXIII, continuing a legacy of faith and community.
Inspired by the values of Pope John XXIII, our school embodies his commitment to service, openness, and warmth. His motto comes to life here as we equip your child with the tools they need to grow, learn, and serve others with kindness and integrity. The diversity within the Pope John XXIII School community enriches our curriculum, fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding. We believe in a whole-child approach to education, providing your child with unique learning opportunities while ensuring a balanced, well-rounded experience. At Pope John XXIII, your child will not only grow academically but also as a compassionate, global citizen. |
