  • Preschool

    3 and 4-Year Old Programs
    Through a variety of developmentally appropriate practices and STREAM, teachers work with students to help them develop social/emotional skills, language readiness, phonological readiness, writing readiness, math readiness, religion concept, and fine/gross motor development.
  • Elementary & Upper Elementary School

    Kindergarten-2nd Grade, 3rd-5th Grade
    We provide a challenging academic curriculum based on Common Core standards and that align with the Archdiocese of Chicago. Our teachers and staff design hands-on and engaging instruction that is differentiated for each child’s individual needs in the areas of mathematics, language arts, social studies, science, reading and religion.
  • Middle School

    6th-8th Grade

    The Archdiocese of Chicago curriculum guidelines, consistent with the State of Illinois standards and the Common Core curriculum, are followed for the teaching of all secular subject areas. Our teachers also go above and beyond these standards in their daily lessons. Pope John XXIII School offers students opportunities for growth in the following major subjects:
    Mathematics
    Language Arts/Social Studies (as a Humanities offering)
    Science
    Foreign Languages (Spanish, French and Latin)
    Social Emotional Learning
    Technology/STEAM
    Elective classes featuring art, music, physical education classes (highlighting fitness, yoga and athletic skill building,) drama and more!
